We love chickens!
Chickens are so much fun to raise! They’re funny, full of personality, super cute, and they lay lots of delicious eggs.
As we’ve gone through the process of raising chickens, we’ve been taking notes. Everything from raising small chicks to getting roosters and losing both to predators.. we’re now typing it all out for others to learn and grow with us.
Our flock isn’t huge as of now, but we plan to increase in the future and are working to expand our coop so we can do it. It’s important to us that we don’t expand faster than our space for the chickens does. Cramped space can lead to many problems and unhappy/unhealthy birds.
Join us as we raise our flock surrounded by woods, predators, and in all different types of weather! So. Much. Fun!!!
