Crack is whack! Unless it’s Christmas Crack😂
Christmas Crack takes about 20-25 minutes to make. Unfortunately, it then takes what seems like 10000000 minutes to cool, lol. Super easy and super good!
Christmas Crack
Insanely good, minimal ingredients, easy to make:)
Equipment
- 1 baking sheet with sides, 9x13
- 1 small saucepan
- tin foil
Ingredients
- saltines, usually takes a little over a sleeve, which is a bit annoying it’s not just one sleeve, but there it is.
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- chocolate chips
- sprinkles (or chopped nuts if you want to ruin it with something that’s not just more sugar, lol)
Instructions
- Line the baking sheet with tin foil and grease it.
- Lay out the saltines in rows, flat, on the tin foil.
- In the saucepan, melt the butter and brown sugar, stirring constantly. While this is going, preheat oven to 400°F.
- Turn up the stove heat a bit and stir or whisk while the butter and sugar mixture starts to boil. Continue until it gets a bit thicker.
- Pour butter and sugar mixture over the saltines and spread out as evenly as possible.
- Place it in the oven for about 5 minutes. When you remove it, it will still be a bit liquidy and will be bubbling.
- Immediately sprinkle chocolate chips on top.Wait a few minutes for the chips to melt, then spread the chocolate as evenly as you can.
- Add sprinkles (or nuts).
- Let cool. This is the most annoying part, as it seems to take FOREVER! Once cool, cut or break into pieces and eat them all. Repeat.
