This keto-friendly creamy garlic sauce is an excellent addition to most dinners! It goes really well with chicken dishes, as well as over veggies such as broccoli or asparagus 🙂
Creamy Garlic Sauce
Quick and delicious - also keto-friendly! Hard to see in the image, but it's on there and it's good, lol.
Equipment
- 1 saucepan
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup cup coconut milk
- 3 Tbsp fat of some kind - ghee, butter, bacon fat (if you want it to have a hint of bacon, which is also delicious)
- 1 Tbsp coconut cream
- 2 cloves garlic, smashed then minced
- 2 tsp oregano
- 1/4 tsp chili powder for an extra kick, double or triple this
Instructions
- Heat saucepan over medium-low heat, add butter (or other fat).
- Once the fat is melted, add all other ingredients.
- Simmer on low, stirring often, until all ingredients are mixed together well.
- Pour over kale, zoodles, or whatever other dish you're having and enjoy!
Oh yeah, this is easy to modify, which just makes it more rad!
Some ways to modify this creamy garlic sauce include:
- Adding bacon bits or cooking it in bacon fat for that flavor.
- Adding cheese to it – parmesan is a really yummy addition.
- Spice it up with things like sweet basil, chipotle chili, or jalapeños.
- Sweeten it with some honey.
There are tons of awesome and easy ways to change this sauce and make it more to your liking. Experimenting to see what your family likes best is also a ton of fun!
